Meet speaker: Paul Komperda

Paul Komperda is the Global Technical Director at United Laboratories International, LLC. Paul has almost 20 years of process unit decontamination experience and knowledge with a hands-on background in decontamination of countless oil refinery process units. He began his career with United Laboratories International, LLC as a Zyme-Flow Process Specialist in 1992.

Paul is currently responsible for all sales, proposals, planning, decontamination projects, procedure writing and job supervision and works closely with all levels of plant personnel and contractors. He has played a vital role within the organization in developing decontamination procedures and processes that are designed to accomplish refinery decontamination goals safely and efficiently. Various best practices have been established by ULI from these experiences.

Paul received his BBA in Marketing and Management from Cleveland State University in Cleveland, Ohio and currently resides in the Chicago area.
