Meet speaker: John Payne

John is the Chief Technology/Static Equipment Engineer at Foster Wheeler in the UK. He has over 30 years experience in pressure vessel design, the majority of which time has been involved with mechanical engineering and constructability of both new and revamped fluid catalytic cracking and residue catalytic cracking (FCC/RCC) units. John has been instrumental in the following units: P+ Coryton, Essar Stanlow, Ineos Grangemouth, Statoil Mongstad, Pertamina Exor-1, Samref, ESSO Thailand and ESSO Fawley. He is currently overseeing engineering input for four major FCC turnarounds, two in the UK, one in Saudi Arabia and one in Thailand.
