Andrea Bernetti, Technology Manager of ISAB Srl, one of the biggest petroleum refineries in Europe, located in Siracusa (Italy), now owned by Lukoil (80%) and ERG (20%). Mr Bernetti graduated in Mechanical Engineering in 1994, and began his career in ISAB the same year as process engineer. In the following years he has followed and coordinated the basic and process design of the new units interconnecting the refinery with the new Integrated Gasification Combined Cycle Complex. In 1998 he passed to the operation department with the responsibility to coordinate the start-up of the new units and the supply/O&M contracts, between the refinery and the new IGCC Complex. From 2002 to 2005 he was responsible for on-site refinery operations. In 2006 he has been appointed as on-site Operation Manager. From July 2009 he became Technology Manager of the Refinery.
