Meet speaker: Howard Slack

Howard Slack has been involved in the manufacturing of industrial Instrumentation & Control systems with particular emphasis on the Oil & Gas markets for over 38 years. He started his career with Robershaw Controls designing and commissioning Emergency Shutdown system in the North Sea and the UAE Gulf regions. In the 80’s he moved into product development and marketing of electric fail safe actuation with the family company Skil Controls and became the Managing Director in the late 90’s. The Skilmatic product range was acquired by Rotork in 2000 and he became the General Manager of the Rotork Skilmatic product range, allowing the product to develop and grow as the market became more aware of the requirements for electrically operated fail safe actuation.
