Meet speaker: Diego Ruiz

Diego Ruiz holds a Doctorate degree in Chemical Engineering from Catalonia Polytechnic University. He is currently manager of Soteica's European Office in Barcelona. Soteica is a technology company that develops, implements and sustains applications for the process industry in the areas of Energy Management and Optimisation (Visual MESA) and Supply Chain (Production Accounting, S-TMS, Scheduling and Operations Support, S-SOM). He has participated directly in the implementation of on-line models for energy optimisation (Visual MESA) in fourteen refineries and petrochemical complexes in the last eight years.
