Chris joined Europia in January 2008 and is responsible for the Energy and Climate portfolio, covering in particular the impacts of EU policy on Refining. He is based at the Europia office in Brussels. Chris is a graduate Chemical Engineer and has 30 years experience with ExxonMobil in Refining, Supply and Distribution. He started at the Mobil UK Coryton Refinery, passing through various technical, operations and supply positions in the UK and France and at the time of the Exxon – Mobil merger in 1999 was Refinery Manager of the Mobil Gravenchon Refinery in France. Chris led the merger transition team of the Mobil Gravenchon and neighbouring Exxon Port Jerome Refineries, before returning to the UK to become Supply and Distribution Manager for UK and Ireland. He subsequently became European Pipeline and Distribution Operations Manager, covering ExxonMobil interests in pipelines and terminals in 12 European countries, before joining Europia in early 2008.
