Meet speaker: Dmitry Spivakovsky

Dmitry Spivakovsky is Director of Downstream Strategy, Investment Governance and Planning in TNK-BP. Mr. Spivakovsky has en engineering background. He bagan his career in the Petroleum industry in 1989 as business process automation engineer and then continued as private enterpreneur in the same area. Then he joined Bechtel (later Aspen Technology) PIMS team and led the business development team in Russia and CIS. In 1998-1999 he worked for Bechtel as Business Development Manager in Petroleum and Chemicals for the same region. Since the very beginning in 2003, Mr. Spivakovsky has joined TNK-BP and took different roles in Corporate Strategy and New Business Development division, before he moved to the current role in Downstream in 2008.
